This is a cool shot taken on my trip to South Africa. This was in Kruger National Park. On our last day, the Ulusaba guides managed to find this scene of a recent kill. I really didn’t do a lot of zooming here. We were literally that close…
Got a macro lens. Found flys in my backyard who must have taken a dip in the beer glass left outside over night. This shot was surprisingly easy to get as these two were preoccupied and not overly concerned with the lens a few inches away.
Aying is a small town about 20 minutes outside of Munich. I’ve visited the Ayinger brewery there on two occasions to take tours. It is definitely one of my favorite brewery tours. First off, great beers. Secondly, its a small privately run brewery – so it is run with people with heart rather than a faceless corporation. Finally, the guide (whose name eludes me at the moment) is amazing! Last time I went we got a private tour and it was exceptional. For me, a highlight is always sampling the unpasteurized beer off the line. Amazing!
